What cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

  • sf-theme. Stores your preference between dark and light theme so the site doesn't flash on every page load. Stored as localStorage, not technically a cookie. No personal data.
  • sf-lang. Stores your preferred interface language (EN, ES). Stored as localStorage, not technically a cookie. No personal data.
  • sf-consent. Stores whether you accepted or rejected analytics/advertising cookies, so we don't ask again on every page. Stored as localStorage. No personal data.

Optional (only if you accept the cookie banner)

  • Analytics (Google Analytics). Helps us understand which pages are useful. Blocked by default on every visit until you accept the banner shown at the bottom of the screen; if you choose "Necessary only" or ignore it, these cookies are never set.
  • Advertising (Google AdSense). We show display ads through Google AdSense. AdSense may set cookies to show and measure ads. Same default-off, opt-in behavior as analytics – governed by the same banner and the same accept/"Necessary only" choice.

Technically, we implement this with Google's Consent Mode: every page loads with analytics and advertising storage set to "denied" before any Google script runs, and only switches to "granted" if you click Accept.

Controlling cookies

You can change your mind at any time by clearing sf-consent from your browser's local storage – the banner will reappear on your next page load. Clearing all cookies and localStorage from your browser settings also resets your theme and language preferences to defaults. The site will continue to function either way.

Third-party cookies

Fonts are self-hosted, so no font-related requests or cookies are sent to Google or any other third party. The only third-party cookies possible are the analytics/advertising ones above, and only after you accept them. See Google's privacy policy for details on how Google itself handles that data.

Changes

If we add or remove cookies, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date will change.
