How Breachfolio is funded

Breachfolio is currently self-funded. As the site grows it may add the following revenue sources:

• A newsletter. Free. No tracking pixels. No selling of the subscriber list.
• Display advertising. Third-party served (e.g. Google AdSense). Clearly labelled. Vendors of the tools we review cannot buy placement directly.
• Reader support. Optional reader contributions, if added, would be clearly disclosed.

We do not accept payment from vendors for ratings, mentions, or coverage of any kind. We do not run sponsored content.

Conflicts of interest

The author of Breachfolio may hold:

• Free, publicly-available accounts on tools being compared (e.g. a free tier of an LLM provider).
• Personal copies of open-source tools being compared.

The author does not hold paid sponsorships, affiliate agreements, or financial interest in any of the vendors covered.

When a conflict exists

If an article would create a conflict of interest the author cannot mitigate (for example, a paid consulting relationship with a vendor), the article is not published.

Affiliate links

Breachfolio does not currently use affiliate links. If we add any in the future, they will be clearly marked on every page where they appear.
